Cottages
In addition to the main house, the Brooklands estate had various associated cottages which have undergone name changes over the years so it is hard to be sure precisely who lived where.
A Hunnisett family history website notes that “ According to ROHAS Tenement Analysis, David [Honisett b.Wartling 1675] was the owner-occupier of Brooklands Farm Cottage from 1711 until at least 1717. This is described as a cottage and 2 rods of ‘waste’. Brooklands is now on the B2096, the main Heathfield to Battle road, just north of Dallington village.”http://www.hunnisett.org.uk/tree/david1675.php
