Herbert Gadd lived for most of his life at No.1 Seaview Cottage, Woods Corner.
He was recently the subject of a very interesting visit by the Local History Group and with the kind permission of his son we are publishing this brief account of his life compiled by Bill Gadd and Roy Iremonger.
