Dallington History 
Good afternoon. My GGG X5 lived in Palmer’s Cottage, South Lane (Edward Pont) in the mid 1850s and I also have Stonestreets in my family tree. We live in Dallington now (I had no idea my family ever lived this way) but I haven’t worked out which house is Palmer’s Cottage!
Lisa I’ve been reorganising the website and you can find some of the inhabitants of Palmers here (Palmers Cottages were where Forestry Cottages are now in South Lane)
There is an entry for some members of the Stonestreet family on p.5 of Roy Iremongers booklet “Dallingtons Transported Convicts” (see Resources section of this site). I think there is also a family website set up by the Australian descendants – Ill post the link here when I find it again
